THE COLLABORATORS IS BEING RELAUNCHED

This free peer-led art programme is open to all young creatives based in Cornwall and the South West aged 18-25 years, and supported by Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange.

The Collaborators is designed to support young creatives at the start of their careers, while increasing their networks, and continues our legacy of supporting contemporary artists for 125 years. As a Collaborator, we will support you to develop skills to advance in your chosen creative field, whether that is being an artist, curator, producer or another creative role. This dynamic art programme will be led by your needs, but could include peer-to-peer sharing, art crits, portfolio sessions, and advice on project proposals and funding applications.

There will be support to help you create your own collaborations and projects, as well as opportunities to be involved in Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange’s exhibition programme. We already have some exciting possibilities lined up and are ready to talk to you about your ideas.

This programme is free and open to everyone aged 18-25 years of all abilities and stages. We are looking for proactive individuals who can make this programme their own and work with their Collaborators to develop collectively. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please send some examples of your work with links, images and social media profiles via email to find out more and to sign up: [email protected]
