PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

As we come to the end of the three-year Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme, we are looking for an experienced Project Co-ordinator to programme and oversee a series of training workshops, and a legacy film of our New Voices Programme.

  • Fee: up to £8,000 and managing an overall budget of up to £22,000
  • Project start date: asap (no later than 1 Jun 2022)
  • Completion date: 30 Sep 2022

VACANCY FOR CAFE BARISTA

We are looking for someone to work approximately 30 hours per week plus occasional evening and longer shifts. You will be part of a small team helping to maintain the smooth running of the cafés, and assisting the Café Manager. The Café Barista will be the face of the organisation, providing fantastic customer service and informed on current gallery exhibitions and forthcoming events. We have two cafés; The Garden Café at Newlyn Art Gallery, and The Exchange Café in Penzance, both are calm and tranquil spaces that provide a social hub at the heart of the public art gallery.

£10 p/h, immediate start.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Volunteers’ enthusiasm and commitment contribute greatly to the culture and ethos of the galleries. If you have some time to spare, an interest in contemporary art and enjoy meeting people, then volunteering with us could be for you.

We are currently looking for volunteers to support our front of house team, help with administrative tasks and to carry out surveys and evaluations with our visitors. If you can give a regular commitment of as little as half a day a week or fortnight, we’d love to hear from you.
