Join us from 19.00 at a special event to mark the opening of I Chose This, across both Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange. You can also meet artist Elizabeth Loveday who will be on hand to talk about Kernow Creatures, her new series of work, currently showing in The Picture Room at Newlyn Art Gallery.

Welcome from James Green, Gallery Director, and an introduction to I Chose This by Cat Gibbard, Programme Curator. - 19.30 The Exchange opens, with food from Ruby Junes (Vg & GF options available)
- 20.00 Newlyn Art Gallery closes.
- 22.30 The Exchange closes.

As well as our opening event, it’s also Mazey Eve. The torchlight procession starts at 21.30 from Chapel Street and the corner of Princes Street by The Exchange, followed by fireworks at Jubilee Pool from 22.45. The Exchange will stay open until 22.30 so that you can watch the procession and then make your way down to the seafront to view the fireworks.
Please note: There will be restricted parking and vehicle access in Penzance.
