BUSINESS STRATEGY MANAGER
We have been awarded funding from Arts Council England to create new exhibitions and creative projects using the Arts Council Collection of more than 8,000 works of modern and contemporary British art. The Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme is an exciting strand to our work, enabling us to broaden our engagement with new audiences and connect even more artists and their work to Cornwall.
As a direct result of winning this funding, we have created a number of new positions within the gallery team to help deliver this exciting programme. We are now recruiting for the post of BUSINESS STRATEGY MANAGER.
This is a senior strategic planning role, working with the Director to develop a robust exit plan from our Arts Council Collection Partnership, to ensure the gallery retains capacity and resources to implement key learning and enhanced public delivery over the next decade.
Whilst it’s essential that you are enthusiastic about the work, mission, vision and values of the gallery, we are not necessarily expecting you to have previous experience in the cultural sector. You may bring experience of developing strategy and effectively leading and inspiring teams in a different field. We are just as keen to see strong transferable skills, as a track record in the arts. We are particularly interested in applicants’ ability and potential, rather than their qualifications and experience. We also understand that some candidates will be looking for a degree of flexible work, and we will always try and accommodate that. For this reason, the post has been designed to accommodate those who may be unable to relocate to Cornwall to take up the opportunity.
