The Picture Room, Newlyn Art Gallery
New paintings focussing on figures and recreational architecture, based on collages made from Clark’s own photographs of municipal buildings and seaside tourism. Found materials are sometimes stuck to the surface of the canvases, to ‘sabotage the image’ and play with the scale.
