AS THE HOLY GROWETH GRENE…

A concert of Medieval, Renaissance and traditional Christmas music sung by the Friends in Harmony Choir together with early music duo Lucy Clitherow (soprano) and Denys Stephens (renaissance lute).

Friends in Harmony are a small and versatile choir. They perform a vibrant repertoire of distinctive music from throughout the ages. Their songs on the evening will bring you the spirit of winter and Christmas past from the Middle Ages onwards.

Lucy Clitherow and Denys Stephens seek out the most beautiful and evocative songs from the medieval and renaissance periods up to the English Tudor and early Stuart era and perform them in their own arrangements for lute and voice using reproductions of historical instruments.

£6, please book via Eventbrite.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to our Tea, Cake & Art creative social group for older people, particularly those living alone.
There will be a pay-bar serving mulled wine and mince pies. Donations are also welcome towards Tea, Cake & Art.
All welcome.
