An exhibition of work by participants of Tea, Cake & Art.
Tea, Cake & Art is a creative social group for older people, particularly those living alone, that has been meeting every Tuesday afternoon at The Exchange since April this year. Marking the mid-point of the programme, this exhibition celebrates both the participants and the creative work they have made so far.
The pieces on show demonstrate exploration of a wide range of techniques, including portraiture drawing and painting, block and mono-printing, and still life studies using colour and collage.
