THE BIG BOP GOLOWAN BALL
Dance the night away! The Exchange is hosting this year’s Golowan Ball, a fundraising event inspired by Patrick Lowry’s exhibition American Dream. Swing to 1950s live jazz from The Five Degrees, guest DJ Richard Ballinger then rock’n’roll bands Better than Nothing, Ledger Lines and Shoal. Chill out in the Hawaiian-style bar with a cocktail, and impromptu live performances. Come dressed to impress in 1950’s style. Prize for the coolest outfit.

Patrick Lowry American Dream
Conceived as a response to, and comment on, the current crises of capitalism and our consumptiondriven society, American Dream looks back to the seductive beginnings of the new, suburban, consumerist revolution that now dominates western societies.

A feast of real invented and re-made rituals, this group exhibition brings together works by artists that take inspiration from rich folk traditions or acts with a sense of shared purpose.
