Calling all men and male-identifying visitors

The gallery has a long-standing commitment to creative health programming, but fewer than a third of our participants are men. Nationally, the picture is even more striking, with only 24% of those engaging in art activities identifying as men.

We know that taking part in creative activities can boost self-confidence, wellbeing, and resilience. We’re keen to understand and address barriers that might be preventing men and male-identifying people from getting involved.

You can help us by answering the brief questions below:

Men Survey
Did you enjoy being creative at school or in the past?
Do you do anything creative now?
Are you aware of the social and wellbeing benefits of taking part?
Are you a man / Identify as a man?
