20 Mar — 18 Apr 2020

The Engine Room, The Exchange

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of our popular Cornwall-wide art prize for young people between the age of 11 and 19, the theme of 2020’s Young People’s Art Prize will focus on the art of protest.

There are three age categories with prizes, and The Visitors’ Vote prize awarded by the gallery at the end of the exhibition to the artist whose work received most votes by the public. As the gallery is currently closed we have added all the shortlisted works (more than 100!) to Facebook, where you can vote for your favourites.

Voting finishes at 17.00 on 30 April. The work with the most Facebook ‘likes’ will receive the Visitor’s Vote Prize, a goody bag of art materials.

There were so many strong entries, we had to have some Highly Commended as well.

  • 2 – Otis, Richard Lander School
  • 3 – Marlie, Richard Lander School
