MARK SURRIDGE, Flight and Stone
Mark Surridge presents a surreal and mysterious world of still-life paintings that are quietly beautiful, meditative, and thought-provoking.
With a focus on striking colour contrasts – bright natural tones against bright synthetic hues – the works feel immediate, inviting closer contemplation.

A series of devotional paintings created by Alice Kilpatrick in honour of our maternal ancestors, and channelled through our ancient granite landscape that held them.
- 4 Apr – 7 Jun
JANET SAINSBURY: (The Studio)
Janet Sainsbury paints pictures of 20th-century writers and artists whom she admires; through researching their work and reading their stories she creates intimate and expressive portraits.

SUMMER GROUP SHOW
LAURA MENZIES, WILLIAM DAWSON, ELLIE WILLIAMS, CORINNA SPENCER
Ellie Williams draws inspiration from her experiences of landscape. Using intuitive, playful processes and experimentation, her paintings and prints reflect a vibrant, curious world shaped by observation, memory, and imagination.Corinna Spencer’s paintings and drawings show us impossible worlds. The often uncanny figures who move within them are simultaneously in and of these intricate imaginary landscapes.Laura Menzies’ abstract paintings embrace an organic feel. She works in an intuitive way building up layers of oil, cold wax and collage to conceal and reveal sections. Her paintings ask the viewer to slow down and provide a gentle space for reflection and contemplation
- 13 Jun – 30 Aug
ROGER TOWNDROW: (The Studio)
- 5 Sep – 1 Nov

Beth Kaye captures brief moments of beauty and provides quiet escapism in her small-scale oil paintings of interiors. Evoking memories of home and place.Ceramicist Lucy Rutter and painter/printmaker Guy Rutter have produced a body of work together. Their pieces circle each other, sharing concerns with formal elements and colour combinations.Amanda Blunden creates emotional landscapes inspired by memory, blending silent drama with pathos, joy, and beauty to evoke a sense of space and solace from an ever-increasing vociferous world.
- 5 Sep – 1 Nov
NICK IVINS: (The Studio)
Nick Ivins creates scruffy, vibrant paintings that blend humour, wit, nostalgia, and rich colour. Drawing inspiration from seaside life, his work captures fleeting moments -utterly irrelevant yet deeply precious – infused with juicy, expressive paint.
- 7 Nov – 10 Jan 2026
KATE WALTERS
Kate Walters’ drawings began in the wilds of Abruzzo National Park. She gathered fallen galls from oak trees and made ink by soaking the crushed galls in water, which she applied to the paper with porcupine quills, also found on the forest floor.
- 7 Nov – 10 Jan 2026
MARIE-CLAIRE HAMON, MELANIE MILLER: (Lower Gallery)
Melanie Miller’s work delves into hidden realms, exploring nature’s beauty, ancient myths, memory, and forgotten connections—unspoken communications between plants, animals, and the ever-changing natural world.
All works are available to buy.
