Newlyn Art Gallery
JOIN US FOR OUR ANNUAL SUMMER FAIR
Along with the Makers Market and craft stalls in the gallery, there are activities on Newlyn Green throughout the afternoon, including a Rubbish Photo Booth raising funds for our Tea, Cake & Art Group, activities for children of all ages, plus food and drink from great local suppliers. (See ‘Read More’ below for more details.)
Alice Bray will be leading on children’s activities on The Green, making woven wands, from willow with added ribbon, wool, and bells, so they can join in when The WAD will be dancing.
Suggested Donation £3.
Rubbish Photo Booth – it’s like the photo booth at the train station … you sit inside and an unseen artist paints your portrait which comes out of the slot in the traditional manner. We think, much better and more fun than a photo!
All the artists and makers exhibiting in Dreamlands in The Picture Room & Studio will be there and delighted to talk about their work.
Plus, a performance by JOIN the WAD, contemporary Morris Dancing Troop, followed by live music from WILD OYO in the garden, or in The Studio if the weather is bad. We’ve just confirmed that the brilliant crew from Where The Wild Things Are will be playing in the garden from 19.00, taking the summer fair into the evening with top tunes and dancing.
A fun day out for all the family!
