CONTRIBUTE TO THE SOCIAL FABRIC QUILT
Feeling inspired by the incredible textile works on display?
Channel your creativity and add your personal touch to our Social Fabric Patchwork Quilt!
Set up in The Workroom at Newlyn Art Gallery, this collaborative project invites visitors of all skill levels to create their own piece of Social Fabric. Use the provided fabric pens for guidance, or go further with your favourite textile techniques – stitch, embroider, crochet, knit, weave, or cross-stitch.
Here’s how to get involved:
- Create a 10cm x 10cm patch reflecting your unique style or inspired by the exhibition themes.
- Bring your patch to life with colours, patterns, or textures – it’s all up to you!
- Add your finished patch to the evolving quilt, which will be displayed in The Workroom for the duration of the show.
Whether you’re a seasoned maker or a curious beginner, this is a fantastic way to engage with the exhibition and leave your mark on this beautiful community project.
So, come on in, grab some materials, and have a go!
