Ten artists were selected from the degree show at Falmouth School of Art, Falmouth University, for the Midas Exhibition in the upper gallery.
Ella Caie, Finbar Conran, Tanya Cruz Gilmour, Robert Davis, Joe Fenwick-Wilson, Nicholas Griffin, Zoe Pearce, Bharat Rajagopal, Isabel Ramos, and Calum Rees-Gildea.
In the lower gallery, last year’s winner, Linda Straehl, will present a new video work made since her graduation in 2015.
For more than ten years, Midas Construction, through the Midas Award, with Falmouth University, Newlyn Art Gallery and Anima-Mundi (formerly Millennium, St Ives), has provided recent graduates with funding for materials, mentoring and an exhibition in their first year after university.
