ARTIST TALK: ON TRANSNESS, PERFORMANCE & THE SEA
The evening begins with a northern-style buffet prepared by our current Jerwood Newlyn Residency artist Amy Pennington (they/them).
They will talk about how their residency has brought people together to explore queerness in relation to the sea with Friday swims and a performance as a lifeguard highlighting the need for trans-inclusive spaces. The evening will include clips from films begun on the residency, featuring a batman, a cow, and a Mermthey’d.
Free and all welcome, buffet and drinks included, but places limited so booking essential.
