A Postcard To Penzance
A POSTCARD TO PENZANCE
A Postcard to Penzance has been running since May 2013 and is a positive invitation for anyone to contribute their voice to the future of our town. In that time we collected around 1,000 postcards with the dreams, ideas and suggestions of Penzance residents and visitors which have been exhibited, and consulted by Cornwall Council and the Penzance Business Improvement District in their policy making. We have hosted six lively events from serious debate, to light-hearted consideration of our curious town, to young peoples’ response to the question of their town’s future. Future events include considering artists’ role in shaping our town.
The project has been supported by Feast, First Great Western and Cornwall Community Foundation. If you wish to subscribe to A Postcard to Penzance emailing list, please contact [email protected]
