13 Oct 2018
10:00 — 12:00
The Engine Room, The Exchange
Due to circumstances beyond our control this workshop has been rescheduled from 7 JUL to 13 OCT. Apologies for any inconvenience and we hope you can make the new date of SAT 13 OCT.
In partnership with Hypatia Trust, artist Bryony Gillard will explore the relationships between peripheral landscapes, female experience, sexuality, and creativity, drawing on the writings of the Modernist poet, and Isles of Scilly resident, H.D.
Through a series of performative exercises, we will collectively explore what our own jelly-fish experiences might be, and how we might use the spaces between poetry, prose, improvisation and autobiography to translate experiences that exist beyond the visible or thinkable.
£5 (max 15 people) with funded places available for those on limited means. Boooking through Eventbrite.
This workshop is aimed at people identifying as female or non-binary.
